The first Northlander passenger set is pictured passing through Copetown on CN P276. The train would tie down at Aldershot due to a work block on the Oakville Subdivision over the weekend. There will be 3 total trainsets for the ONR to bring back the Northern passenger service that was cancelled over a decade ago.

  2. Nice view, although I was expecting a six car train set like VIA.

  3. What a nice Christmas gift ! For those of us like me who are planning one day to ride it north from Toronto as opposed to driving. The set was parked at VIA’s TMC this morning, not sure if has left to go north to North Bay. Many thanks for posting.

  4. Nice catch!

  5. Take note Vancouver Island!! :)

  6. Ironically the same configuration as the Trans Europe Express (TEE) trainsets. Hopefully history doesn’t repeat itself and these fare better!
