Caption: Passing through the somewhat run-down West Donlands/Corktown area of the city, TTC PCC 4379 (A6-class, CC&F 1947-48) heads westbound on King Street East at St. Lawrence Street, after passing another King PCC (46xx A11-class) on its way east to the Don River bridge in the distance (note the Coleman building). On the right is Central Body & Fender (align with Bear to stop the shimmy!) and S. McCord's cement plant along Bayview Avenue hiding behind one of the obtrusive utility poles. Today, gentrified office buildings and condos have replaced much of the old factories and shops in this gritty scene.
