Not to mention the standard Atco power connection/cable to provide lighting and receptacle power in the Tool Car.
One of these was in Chatham until after 2020 used for MOW storage mounted on rails, it’s now gone.
Hi Steve. I believe that car in Chatham was CN 551752 an Engineering Department Tool & Material storage car, built November 1957. It was sitting on a track panel for years. I snapped it from a moving VIA #76 on April 12, 2022.

Terry, yes, those Crouse-Hinds cables and receptacles made life so much easier on the road. Much better than having to pull lengths of cab-tire between cars to get power into some of the older boarding and tool cars.
