On a cold January 1979 day in east end Toronto, VIA FP9 6524 and an ex-CN 6800-series FPB4 head an eastbound passenger train on CN's Kingston Sub at Mile 331, around Gerrard Street East underpass. This was likely shot at or near the old Pape Avenue grade crossing, not too long before it was eliminated for a pedestrian bridge. The tower in the background is the Ray McCleary Towers at 444 Logan Avenue.

Original photographer unknown, Dan Dell'Unto collection slide.
