Are all Metrolinx units getting GOTX reporting marks?
The committee that came up with this must be a fun bunch.
So if anyone who works for Metrolinx is disappointed in how this turned out, the next time an F59 needs a paint job, repaint it in the original green and say it’s a “heritage unit”. Problem solved, you’re welcome.
1/10! Send it back to the paint booth! The dumb placement of the GO under the cab and number all the way at the front has got to GO!
This locomotive looks like a child was given a pack of GO stickers, and peeled them off and applied them to their toy model with no thought given to aesthetics or any kind of balance or visual appeal. And they ran out of all the big GO stickers after sticking most of them on their dog Rover, so had to use a small one on the front because mommy wouldn’t buy them another pack from the dollar store (“Use all your GO stickers, dear, you still have some left!”).
What’s up with the GOTX markings under the side number?
What’s up with how this photo stays in the top spot for the weekend. Anybody know what trick to use or method so the rest of us can do the same. Please share the trick, it only seems fair.

Off topic, and sorry , but you are on the editorial staff? If so, I tried emailing but the fill in the blank question I got wrong too many times- “ railways” I put and failed, then”railway” (latter incorrect technically but I tried) which also failed. Tried third time, not knowing if case-sensitive or needs a space, but wrong again and so disappeared my question with details.
My question- is it okay to submit ORIGINAL images taken by others?
I would of course give credit, time, place, subject matter for these pix, eg red border Kodachrome, 616 negs – I bought several yrs ago on eBay sometimes bidding into the hundreds for some individual cdn rwy images.

Hi Jon, it’s okay to submit photos/slides in your collection taken by others, as long as proper credit is given (some photographers may require permission to reuse their images, others are okay as long as credit is given).
