    This number is a 24/7 service to report signal malfunctions, crossing incidents or other urgent safety concerns to the CN Police.

  2. I have not, but I should. That actually never crossed my mind!

  3. Please do. If the defect is near a road crossing there should be a blue sign on the crossing protection, or possibly a yellow sign on an aluminum signal bungalow identifying the location. Provide as much detail as you can when calling in the location.
