EMD SD40X demonstrators 7000 and 7001 are seen at CPR's Agincourt yard with dynamometer car 62, on the head of a freight from Calgary. Temporarily renumbered while testing on CP, the units were built in 1965 as EMDX 434D (7000), and 434C (7001), part of a set of 8 units; 434A - 434H, sold to UP in 1966.
