I’m laughing at that duMaurier ad. As if “light” cigarettes are going to save you from getting lung cancer or anything else that’s brought on by smoking.
But for the younger generation here, we did have billboards that were mostly dominated by cigarette ads.
That’s what my mom smoked in the couple years she smoked. Everyone smoked then. I had to go pick up cartons at the store for my parents.
I’m glad i didn’t pick up the habit.
