Running out of Montreal overnight during the past year or two, CN 327 (destined for interchange with CSXT closer to the international border and usually running with CSXT power) has gone back to running in the afternoon since a few weeks ago. Here it is through the s-curve at Dorval with ET44AH CSXT 3391 leading.

    A break from the duopoly! Montreal is very fortunate to have CSX, NS & QGRY in my opinion. Sartigan also is a day trip away

    Technically NS does not run into Montreal. The only place in the country NS actually runs into Canada is Fort Erie.

    Well, closer to actual NS operations than the Toronto area gets. From my understanding the “NS” trains in Mtl are run-throughs that change hands from NS, CP and finally CN at the border. Imagine if they ran NS power on 421/2 here lol

    It’s happened, but it’s been a while. It was only a year or so after NS 327/8 stopped so it was kind of ‘still normalized’
