Caption: TTC PCC 4315 (A6-class, built CC&F 1947) is operating on the Carlton route heading westbound on Gerrard Street East, pausing at the streetcar stop at Golfview Avenue to pick up a passenger (note the closing doors). Most of the houses appear to have remained intact, but the church on the right has since been replaced with a larger, more modern building. The orange newspaper box would be for the Globe and Mail, and in the distance (behind the blue car) one can see part of a green "Evening (Toronto) Star" delivery van approaching.
