An old picture I found at the Atlas Coal mine. Honestly pretty impressive the guy is wearing a hard hat, but it is very logical. These mining cars used to be pulled by horses. This battery powered steel horse (or tunnel motor) depending on how you put it is much better suited for the job. Not sure on the date.
