To B on not to B? July 2/03 at Mac Yard outbound shop track BNSF GP9B #1700 a very rare unit in general, but to be this far from home rails is unusual. BNSF 1700 is an EMD GP9B locomotive. Built in the 1950s for Northern Pacific as #267. Burlington Northern (BN) rebuilt from wrecked GP9s. As of this date, BNSF had 4 GP9B's on their roster.

    Possibly one of the oddest things to have showing up in a consist as foreign power!
