A northbound TTC Yonge line train, lead by two MLW M1 subway cars and four HSC H1 cars, heads north out of the Ellis Portal on the approach to Rosedale Subway Station. The consist is passing the back of the old Canadian Tire store along Yonge Street at Davenport, their Toronto flagship store originally constructed in 1935 and still in business today (there are proposals to redevelop the store site into high-rises, while retaining the historic front facade and a retail store somewhere inside).

  1. Is it me, or are the Hawkers somewhat slightly wider and taller than the MLW’s?
