@Stephenhost There used to be a station to the right beyond the trees across the Lake Muskoka inlet before my time growing up cottaging and railfanning in Bala.
Siding switch was relocated just north of the road. I shot a southbound here last year, basically standing where John was.
Nice! I’m the signal maintainer for this section. The switch and 1148 signal is indeed north of the crossing now. The dwarf signal is raised on a concrete base like the rest of the signals in the area. The spur is gone and there is a backtrack switch that’s used occasionally for set offs or machine storage.
