Caption: "That's not a GO Train!"
After finishing their morning switching duties in the east end (likely around the Don Yard/Portlands/harbourfront area), CN local #543 with GP9RM's 4112 and 7007 cruises through the Union Station Rail Corridor past Toronto Union Station in the January rain, returning to Mimico Yard as light power. This local job, originating at Mimico, would often head east past Union in the morning, finish its switching, then come back west in the late morning or early afternoon when GO and VIA passenger traffic was lightest.
Two GP9RM units were standard fare at the time, as the fleet was still plentiful and in good health. The same pair would still be together working #543 next month, with a bit more snow on the ground.

The good old days when CN switched along the Lakeshore West. When did they start working out of Oakville Yard and Aldershot? Btw I modelled 4112. I got the number boards wrong though. Very nice.
