LOVE the angle! Later in life, 1057 would run on a tourist train from Hull to Wakefield, QC.

IIRC the Toronto Suburban crossed not far or near the last coaches. it crossed Derry on an angle then crossed the CPR and skirted the flanks of the river.

The Derry road crossing has been removed.

Thanks for the link, Steve. Spent a few minutes trying to find your shot but figured it might pop up in a comment.

The TSR crossed beneath the CPR just slightly south of the current Derry Road crossing, which did not exist until circa 1990. You can see the remains in these aerials.

You can also see it on google earth in the 2005/6 time period, in spring, the ROW is very clear

the ROW has slowly been eroded by the erosion of the river but it’s still there

Looks like the TSR may have been an underpass with the CVR/CPR
