CP Rail RDC-2 units 9115 and 9103 handle the daily CP-TH&B-PC Budd RDC train from Toronto to Buffalo (operating as CP #321 over this leg of the trip), heading westbound over CN's Oakville Subdivision making their station top at the CN Burlington (Freeman) Station. This was just after the Brant Street grade separation, with fresh clean ballast visible, and was around the same time (or perhaps the same day) that Bill shot a CN freight coming off the Halton Sub from the same spot.

A CP timetable from April 1972 shows this train, CP #321, departing Toronto Union Station at 8:50am and operating over CN's Oakville Sub (via trackage rights, with a flag stop at Oakville station as needed), arriving at Burlington Station around 9:30am. Its next station stop was at the Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo's Hamilton Station at 9:50am, before continuing over the TH&B and Penn Central (as train #376) to Buffalo NY via Fort Erie.
