Little Train, Big Train: a pair of GO Transit F59PH units handle two morning rush hour trains leaving the Union Station Rail Corridor onto the CN Oakville Sub near Strachan Avenue: GO 550 off Bradford (Barrie) line train #802 pauses with its short equipment move waiting for the light off the bypass/"High Line" tracks to proceed west to Willowbrook Yard, passed by in-service 547 buzzing by at speed on the tail-end of full-sized Lakeshore West train #477.The ever-present Inglis sign offers its morning insights of "Nothing can be changed until you start(?) to find the issue", that smokestack belongs to one of the old restored buildings in Liberty Village, and I believe those apartment buildings are off Dufferin Street. At the time, GO's smallest consists were "L6" trains (locomotive and 6 bilevels), the smallest possible to keep the required 2500-series "5A" accessible car as the 5th car in order to line up correctly with the accessibility platforms. Some Georgetown, Bradford and other lines used them on less-patronized trips, while the standard "L10" consist (locomotive and 10 bilevels) was the maximum-sized train GO would run to do the heavy lifting on busier trips. At the time GO was all-F59 all the time, and their HEP abilities limited trains to a maximum of 10 cars (most station platforms were also only that long).
