2/7/03 GMD London built BNSF ex Sante Fe GP60M #146 sits on the outbound shop track at Mac Yrd. 146 is coupled to a BNSF GP9B 1700 The once proud Sante Fe Warbonnet painted in the (then new) Super Fleet livery(thanks Mike Haverty) is a shadow of its former self. BNSF 146 is still on the roster, but now downgraded to local service and are designated GP60M-3 The GP60'S were one of the last high horsepower locomotives built by GMD.

    The GP60M was truly a 70 MPH hot rod on rails, with great Warbonnet lines to go with it.Saw many of them come off the line in London and it was my most favorite locomotive.
