Via RDC 6207 is seen at the west end of Toronto Union Station in July of 1982. The gold-colored Royal Bank Tower is seen in the background across the street. The twin towers have real 24 karat gold in the windows, hence the gold color.

  1. Great photo Cameron. It’s pure gold! I remember seeing these old units in the mid-late 80′s running the Guelph Subdivision at Stratford, ON. Very memorable for a then 8 year old me!

  2. Thanks Todd – It has been a trip down memory lane going through the old slides from Toronto trips back in the early 80′s. This then-teenage-kid from Lyons, NY, (on the Conrail ex-NYC main) thought Toronto was Train Disneyland. LOL.
