Caption: CN's Draper Taper cowl units looked sort of weird leading freight trains solo, almost as if there should be some Budd or LRC passenger cars trailing behind instead of freight cars, and everything lettered "VIA Rail" (I'm sure that exists on someone's layout).
CN SD60F 5546 pulling a "One-Unit Wonder" leads a short eastbound freight (possibly #330) into downtown Brampton, its head-end splitting the signals at Mill Street crossing as the rest of the train thumps the Brampton diamond. Compare this scene to an earlier photo that year: note the new signals here and in the distance (installed during the summer as part of an upgrade by CN), and the removal of the old CN-CP interchange track switch and dwarf signal off the north track.
