CN 1600 Yard Job comes around the wye on the New Gages Spur, pulling ahead to eventually clear the switch and shove back onto the Firestone for their night of work. Sad times when these old units are put out to pasture. I’m glad one was donated to the WSJR, and looks great in the old green and gold livery. I also remember too, when some of the units were on our local 514 (Chatham to Blenheim, and Thamesville)..there’s nothing that compares to the sound of these engines running…or the smell of the exhaust.
