Your recent splash of photos from southwestern Ontario are pleasant reminders of when my dad was the CN Roadmaster in Windsor, ON with territory on the then CN Chatham Sub. from Windsor to Chatham.
We lived first in Windsor, then Tecumseh in the mid-to-late 1960′s.
No way! Is there any place where we haven’t lived in the same town, although at different times? That’s awesome. I wish this was railroading in the 80s and 90s, but alas….it is what it is today.
Well Todd, I can tell you that being in a railroad family and having worked in the railway industry my entire life, you get to move around quite a bit through assignment, promotion, or transfer if you so choose.
