Caption: End of the line. This is now the terminus of the former CPR White Fox Sub, roughly half a mile to the West of the town of Choiceland, the tracks once had continued for another 500~ odd feet before the official end which was used for car storage. Today, the tracks end just before what I believe is Road No.488, with the amount of un named dirt roads in the province, this is an educated guess. Out of picture behind the engine is the new engine shop that the TRR had built to house the GDM1. Driving along highway 55 from Nipawin to Prince Albert or vise versa, the White Fox Sub will parallel the highway from Meath Park to Choiceland where the tracks resume into Nipawin. Its an incredibly scenic and picturesque drive as you leave Prince Albert along the North Saskatchewan river and begin to see the transition from the Boreal Transition to the Uplands. Keep an eye out for the numerous abandoned smaller trestles and bridges that scatter the former ROW, I tried to find some old relics, albeit to no avail.
