Caption: A follow up to my one of my earliest uploads. Around 2010-11 timeline CP was contracted to haul windmill towers and components from southern Ontario (Windsor, if memory serves correct?) to Alberta. This days edition was symbolled "785" and had a one of two type loco for the railroad along for the ride. The crew is roughly 10 miles into their trip over the Nipigon Sub about to hit the switch pionts of Selim West as the blue hour is setting in. CP 5912 West with sister SD40-2 6079 sandwiches the testbed Genset 3GS21B-DE 2101 sandwiched admist the trio. A decade and a half later, the siding at Selim has been extended west to a capacity of roughly 14,000', up from the previous capacity of roughly 8140'.
