It’s hard to pass up a trio of CN “stripes” in 2026, even if they are looking a bit ratty. It feels like it was only yesterday that I was chasing the once so common sets of six axle units painted is stripes. Sadly it was a lot longer since I’ve had the opportunity to. This spot near Etonia is one of my favorites in more recent years, at least for westbounds. Here the sound of local CN 383 fills the air long before its arrival as it heads westbound, back home to London.
