One CP Red Barn is nice, two is a treat, and an SD40-2 between is the cherry on top! CP SD40-2F units 9012 and 9022 bracket SD40-2 5746 on a very short train #223, running as light power from Toronto Yard to the Vaughan Intermodal Terminal to lift their train. The units are seen here about to cross Bartlett Avenue, heading westbound along CP's North Toronto Sub after CP #137 with a pair of SD40-2 units passed by. And earlier, CP transfer #T56 showed up with the ratty ex-Guilford 4652 leading.When the great Red Barn fleet fell, CP 9012 was sold to J&L Consulting for scrap in late 2016, but 9022 (one of only two repainted in the dual flags "System" livery) found its way back to CP after a stint operating on the Central Maine & Quebec Ry with a few other lucky SD40-2F survivors. 5746 was sold to K&K Recycling to become soup cans and new Hondas in 2017.
