Caption: The well known pond at Campbellville has long been a favorite railfan location for me, unfortunately over the decades it has become overgrown and filled in, not to mention the code line here being in the way for most photos. While waiting for 135 to finally make its way to Guelph Junction, I got a heads up that 230 was only a couple miles away. Running out of time I decided to see if anything would work by the pond. To my surprise the code line and greenery beside the right of way has recently been cleared away opening up a few new photography opportunities. A nicely placed picnic table helped with the elevation as well. I’m no big fan of CP’s Gevos but the “s” curve here and changing fall colors made the shot. that seemed more same old, same old.
