VIA F40PHs 6456 and 6444 have just arrived in Jasper with VIA train #1, The Canadian, from Toronto. I was on this train with my father- we had a sleeper in the Park car and continued on the rest of the way to Vancouver. 6456 was about to be removed from the train and exchanged for the 6454. The longer station stop provided ample time to explore Jasper and watch the service operations of the train.
