For the fourth time in six years, GIO Rail trackage is used as a film location. The previous being Handmaids Tale in 2020 and 2023, and a Mr Beast challenge in 2024. This time, the former Cayuga Subdivision trackage in Dain City is being used for the Amazon series Reacher. Here we see a station erected for filming a scene at the fictional "Mothers Rest" station. VIA lent a F40 and a few coaches for the train used in said scene. The train was left under scaffolding where GIO generally keeps their power at Feeder, making it difficult to get a photo. After filming, the station was destroyed. One of the GIO guys I talked to suggested using it for an office, but the higher ups must've not shared the same idea.
