After meeting 106 at Wildwood, CN O 99951 29, the “1057 TEST Train” accelerates westward towards Chip Lake. Subbing in for the five axle boxcar, which tests the gauge of the track is Milwaukee Road “Caritas” (NSRX 800045) on loan from the MILW 261 group. It was a busy few hours on the Edson Sub, with 9 freights in a four hour period. For my Eastern friends, yes that’s snow on the ground and it was a balmy -5C out that day!
