Caption: TTC PCC 4734 (A13-class, originally built by Pullman in 1947 for Birmingham, Alabama) heads southbound on Dundas Street West at Jerome Street, heading enroute from Runnymede Loop to Dundas West Subway Station on an eastbound Dundas streetcar run. This portion of the Dundas streetcar was eliminated the next year in May 1968 (when the Bloor-Danforth subway extension from Keele to Islington opened), and replaced with the Route 40 Junction trolleybus service.
Other notable West Toronto Junction landmarks visible in this photo taken looking north from the Wallace Avenue pedestrian bridge are the CPR West Toronto station, the Old Weston Road overpass over the rail corridor, and the Maple Leaf Milling silos off Junction Road.
