  1. Great find! I read somewhere once that those darker colored insulators are often purchased by collectors for quite a bit of money

  2. I’ve also seen many of these and I heard the market for insulators has bottomed out.

    The only insulators that appear to be worth money are ones with no thread which would be from the 19th century.
