CP 8552, 9106, 8630, 8607 stand in the loop at Vulcan, AB, waiting for a northbound train to cross with them. This is taken from a public crossing on the main road into Vulcan and provides quite a nice unobstructed viewpoint.

CP 3025, 3044, 3051 and 2221 working at the northern end of the Rahr Malting plant in Alix. They were setting some grain cars which will be filled and then picked by CN at the south end of the facility. This CP turn usually runs on a Saturday from Red Deer and continues on to Stettler and services a couple of points along the route.
A new grain terminal is being constructed at Erskine a little way east of Alix so the traffic volume on the branch should increase when it opens.

CN 8886 and 8836 rumble south past the Rahr Malting plant in Alix. This is my first post on RP.ca and hopefully there are many more to come.
