CP 3025, 3044, 3051 and 2221 working at the northern end of the Rahr Malting plant in Alix. They were setting some grain cars which will be filled and then picked by CN at the south end of the facility. This CP turn usually runs on a Saturday from Red Deer and continues on to Stettler and services a couple of points along the route.
A new grain terminal is being constructed at Erskine a little way east of Alix so the traffic volume on the branch should increase when it opens.

  1. Awesome

  2. I will second Mr. Knotts comment. :-)
Good news in regard to the future expansion, more trains are always welcome.

  3. Thank you Gentlemen, I think the new terminal is going to handle trains of about 120 cars so CP has been upgrading the tracks to handle the heavier loads predicted.
