For twenty four years (1955 to 1978 inclusive) the CP Bolton station Operator daily duties included hooping two sets of train orders to each of CP trains #11 and #12, the Toronto section of ‘The Canadian’. On a warm September 1977 Saturday the CP Operator delivers (hoops) train orders to Train #11′s head end crew member, note the second hoop in the Operator’s left hand for Train #11′s Conductor (see next image). Alas, from the date of this negative CP Rail Train 11 has less than one year remaining on these rails and likewise the Operator’s position will be abolished within two years.   2. 4066 was renumbered several times:
    1422 in 1954;
    back to 4066 in 1966;
    to Via 1422 in Feb.79
    to Via 6566 in May 1980.
    Feb86, 6566 was destroyed at Hinton, Alberta.
