Caption: 4777 is the power for the day's 514, working off the north track of the Chatham Sub in Thamesville. Here, they are making the relatively steep decent down into Agris to lift one potash empty, and will make the trip one more time to spot some potash loads shortly after. I quite enjoy watching 514 work this siding - they seemingly just disappear down into the abyss when you are watching from Victoria Road (County Road 21). To give you a sense of that, Luke Bellefleur shot 514 working this siding in November from Victoria Road which can be seen here. I had previously posted a shot of this 514 on the return trip to Chatham, when the sun had finally come out after a long day of mostly downpours. I have chased 514 a handful of times and quite enjoy it.
