A Cando work train performing testing/familiarization on the Oakville Subdivision in July 2026. The GP38's on this train were modified by MEI of St. Louis and have DPU, likely the only geeps with DPU in service in North America according to friends of mine. Since testing ended, these trains are in active construction and MOW service for Metrolinx especially during weekend and nightly shutdowns and up to three trains have been known to be out and about. There will be enough cars and motive power for four trains if the need them.
