Caption: A fond look back on a beautiful November morning at TH&B Chatham St in West Hamilton. This was a place the Golden Horseshoe rail buffs made one of their focal points for photography.
Shown is the power for the Nanticoke train, C&O 4828, 3885 and B&O 4801. The CP 6008 was one of several units parked off to the side. The old roundhouse can be seen in far left.
I loved the fact I was allowed to roam at will and the employees were very accommodating.
Unfortunately, when CP took complete control of the TH&B in 1987, it was only a matter of time before this facility would become but a memory. Demolition in early 1992 spelled the end.
