Caption: A pair of back-to-back "Draper Taper" cowl units, CN C40-8M 2440 and SD50F 5434, lead afternoon train #393 westbound through downtown Brampton. They've just past the VIA/GO Brampton Station and Mill Street crossing, and are about to slam the CN-OBRY Brampton diamond just out of frame next to the photographer. Some absolutely filthy snow, piled here by the snowplow contractor in charge of clearing the south GO parking lot, sticks around as a blight on the landscape a bit longer. I recall this may have been a trip downtown with some family members, after a visit to the local coin laundry (demolished) and a lunch of Gusto's Pizza's finest (the best slice downtown, once Church & Main but since moved). Fun times.
