Caption: A pair of Ottawa-bound CPR dayliners running as Saturday only train 137 pause at Montebello, Quebec. This log station, constructed in 1931, replacing an earlier structure. Serving its last train in 1981, the station was relocated to main street in 1989 where it now serves as a tourist information centre.

Amazing architecture. I’ve never looked up Montebello to see if it is in the ‘ski region’s of Quebec….but if it is, I’m sure the builders planned to build this log station.
Also happy to know it serves a purposeful after life too. I’d be sad if this station was ever removed due to what looks like its ‘one of a kind’ design.
