A thick layer of fog has settled in Streetsville as the sound of an EMD prime mover can be heard in the distance, within a few minutes a dim light can be seen burning its way gradually through the thick fog. The sight of any EMD power in the the lead on CP these days is definitely a sight for sore eyes on this predominant GE Railroad. Soon rebuilt ECO SD40 #5022 charged under the searchlight signals at Streetsville Junction. These signals may finally fall soon as new LED hooded signals are gradually taking over the Galt Subdivision. Thanks Curtis for the heads up on this one :)

  1. Glad you caught it buddy

  2. I sure like this photo. The train fades into gray fog in less than 20 car lengths. I’m really hoping one of the SD40 ECO’s makes it way to the Edmonton area this summer.
