A trio of GP40-2Ws lead by CN 9633 handle an oil train to Lennox Generating Station, backing up the 5.6 miles to the hydro plant as seen from the County Road 22 bridge over the spur about a mile south of the Kingston Sub, on June 11th 1992. At that time both oil and natural gas were being used depending on price.

  1. When I saw that this photo was taken at Bath then looked at your photo I had to ask myself since when did the Kingston Sub become single tracked? Thank goodness for the story behind the photo. It is truly a great photo as I have never seen a similar photo posted here of this view. You are truly a ‘Master’ of railroading photography Bill. Nice catch :)
