A view of the old Waterdown North CP station, located just off Parkside Drive. Back when I took this, the area was wide open. Today, it is a fenced compound and of course "no trespassing'. At the time I shot this image I believe the company on location was called 'Barnes". Today it is Opta Minerals. The open road in to the facility along the tracks is now gone and replaced by a newer guarded laneway which appears to have an electronic entrance. I believe the station, which still looks good, was an office back in the 70s and continues to serve that purpose to this day.

  1. Very Nice. I’m thinking the Heavily guarded No Trespassing has helped keep the station from it’s demise. Arson, vandalism, etc.
