After getting word of transformers being moved for Hydro One the previous day, I headed down to Arkell to see what was going on. Finding OSR SW1200RSu 1210 sitting with two depressed center flats, one already unloaded (one transformer just behind me). Today's job was to unload the second transformer. Two small conveyor belts were placed under the transformer and on the flatbed truck. Slowly the load was shifted from rail-to-road, and the job was done. I noticed the flatcar behind the unit had an old clearance card on it from the Illinois Central Railway,meaning this card was approximately 20+ years old.
