  1. Great pic…brings back memories.
    I was not there when you shot this picture, but I am curious as to the 6790 and train being towed backwards?
    The train is being put through the “wash rack” as you can see the water being sprayed near the back of the train.
    I can’t say i remember putting any train through the wash on its way to the coach yard. I do remember us pulling completed trains from the Spadina yard and putting them through the wash rack before spotting them in Union Station.
    No big deal..thanks for the memories :-)

  2. When did they stop towing trains and just have them reverse under their own power?
