An early fall Saturday morning finds recently rebuilt Canadian Pacific GP9u No. 1682 switching the Stelco warehouse located immediately adjacent to the Chatham Street Roundhouse. Built by GMD in London Ontario as T, H & B GP7 No. 72, the venerable unit would soldier on until 2012, becoming rebuild fodder for the GP20C-ECO rebuild program at EMD’s new Muncie Indiana facility.
