Caption: Beautiful station. Built in 1900. This is the only station in Manitoba that was constructed using fieldstone. Officially the station's use for railroad purposes came to an end in 1989. On June 21, 1990 the building was given heritage Railway Station protection. This gem is now home to the region's Community Arts Centre. Last time I was by the station, a year back, fencing and bushes obscured a view such as this. The only angle for photos was from the street side.
