Before the development of the Sparwood-area coal mines in southeastern BC, much export coal came from Coleman Collieries in Alberta, which utilized a Canadian Locomotive Company 44-ton diesel-torque-converter unit ex-CP 13 as their DL-10 for switching empty cross-hoppers to the loadout tipple and assembling trains for westward movement to Port Moody. Unit trains of rotary-dumped bathtub cars are so much more efficient.

    Those little terminal switching units apparently got too small for CP over the years, and they began retiring and selling them off.
