Cando 5203, 5303 and 5307 are seen working out front of the huge Mosaic Potash Mine near the village of Yarbo, which is northeast of Esterhazy, SK. The underground mining had actually shut down 4 months earlier in June due to the increasing risk of flooding. The previously closed mine at Colonsay was currently being revamped and was to be open March 2022 with potash production to be going into full swing there. We were unaware of this situation until arriving at the Esterhazy mine and talking to one of the rail employees. So it was good to record this.
